Want to make a difference?

Who doesn’t want a job that’s fulfilling with an organisation that’s focused on making life better for our people and our customers?

We’re committed to making the employment experience the best it can be. From how you’re made to feel as a candidate through the recruitment and selection process, to how we welcome you into the team and help you develop to be the best you can be. We work hard to ensure that you are treated as an adult and as an individual and not just a number on the payroll. Whatever your ambitions and aspirations, you’ll find the role is rewarding, varied and at times hopefully fun.  If it sounds like the place for you then why not take a peek at the opportunities we have available right now. Even if you don’t spot something that suits you can always register to receive updates and to be told about roles as they come along.

Our culture…

We work hard but we also like to have lots of fun!

We want you to be the best version of you.
What does this mean?
Well it’s about creating an employment experience, culture and environment that enables you to feel comfortable being yourself and having the development and opportunity to achieve your potential. We encourage you to take ownership for your own development and to be creative in addressing your needs.
There are many ways that someone can learn and develop and its not just about classroom style training these days. You will have regular ‘Check Ins’ with your manager to talk about your progress and your development needs helping you to excel in your role and to feel fulfilled at work.
We all lead busy lives.
Many of our people have children or career responsibilities and it’s not always easy to balance family needs with work commitments.
We recognise this and embrace flexible working where possible. In some areas of our organisation we provide 24 hour care and support to our customers and where this is the case we operate a variety of working patterns which usually allows for some flexibility. We will actively support and accommodate where possible as long as the job role can still be fulfilled.
Competitive holiday entitlement of 23 days which increases as you accrue service up to 28 days after 5 years. Of course this is in addition to the statutory bank holidays.
Who doesn’t  like to save money where possible.
This is our way of helping you to make your salary go a little further.  A reward platform where you can make some fantastic savings with top retailers, cinema chains, holiday companies, utility providers and much more. It’s easy to do via  reloadable cards, instant vouchers or cash-back options, all managed via our own “My Reward” site
Maternity, paternity and adoption pay. Also, to help support you and your family commitments there is discretionary payment for time off for dependants and compassionate leave.
Childcare is a costly business.
Childcare vouchers help you pay towards registered childminders, nurseries, after school clubs and more. It’s a great way to save on tax and national insurance.
Discounted gym membership at a number of well known gyms and to top it off we have  a gym located at ‘our hub’ – 308 London Road. As a member of the team you can benefit from a fantastic monthly rate helping you to keep fit but without breaking the bank.
We can support improved health, fitness and well being through our offering of a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. It’s a way to purchase bicycles and equipment up to a maximum value of £1000. You pay the money back via your monthly salary and save in the process.
For those rare occasions when we are unwell and unable to work we offer Company sick pay.

We also operate a number of benefits and initiatives focused on health and wellbeing, including annual flu jabs, mini MOT’s (health checks), annual eye checks and contribution towards glasses for computer use, counselling and much more.

Eligible colleagues will benefit from Group Income Protection and Life Assurance Plans. Ask our HR team about this.

Even if you are some way away from retirement it’s important to consider contributing to a pension arrangement. If eligible you will be automatically enrolled into one of the pension schemes that are available for your role.
